Featuring thousands of bicycles welded together, impressively–the chinese architect, photographer, filmmaker, activist and anything else you can think of (no, really. think of it and he’s done it), has a current exhibit in Taiwan. Suprisingly, this current exhibition is of a larger installation entitled Absent. Forever Bicycles represents Ai Wei Wei’s outlook on the constant and rapid growth of China, in a societal sense. Hopefully, Ai Wei Wei can refrain from being a detainee so we can continue to receive such stunning visuals.
