Dope Drops Exclusive Interview: JOHN MiCHAEL

Dope Drops: Explain to the people who you are(Where you’re from,how old you are, etc)?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Well I’m from Texas im hispanic raised by black and latinos my whole life since they stick both those races in the same hoods, I wasn’t raised around my father he was facing 10 year around the time I was 8 I think. I got a son ummm im in my early 20′s and I like trill ass bitches.

Dope Drops: You go by JOHN MiCHAEL, whats the reason behind that name?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Its my actual name I think its kinda lame when rappers don’t associate their stage name to something in their name you feel me? I dont know like making up a random name to me is gay af and lame unless your a producer.

Dope Drops: Thats an interesting opinion, what does the music industry mean to you?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Money, lifestyle, drama, snakes, and all that shit.

Dope Drops: You seem to really be into syrup, right?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Yea I actually won the olympic gold medal in the syrup drinking category.

Dope Drops: Who are some of your musical inspirations?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Mac Dre, Willie Nelson, SPM, Pimp C and of course Pac and Big.

Dope Drops: Mac Dre is the shit, what made you want to rap?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Yea he is, and the Gods told me to do it real talk.

Dope Drops: What and when can we expect from your tape?

JOHN MiCHAEL:  Well expect a lot of trill shit and all kinds of genres of music I hop on any type of beat and just freestyle I find it funner when I freestyle. Oh and shoutsout to Kutttastic and Big C they both hit me with great beats without them and my boy J_Boyd idk if id be this far in music even with a the little amount of fans I have it  still feels good, I just need one listener to make music to be honest.

Dope Drops: How far do you see yourself going with this music thing?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Till the Gods tell me to stop or till the world ends, I don’t know music has always been there for me and been a part of my life even my ancestors.

Dope Drops: You keep saying “the Gods”, what do you mean by that?

JOHN MiCHAEL: My religious beliefs are not ones usuals beliefs, I this hard to explain this over the phone lets just say im in a different kind of religion. Maybe one day ill do it over video with more detail or someshit.

Dope Drops: Woah that sounds really deep and Interesting, have you ever preformed in front of a live crowd?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Yea I have a lot of times actually, its really nerve wracking the first couple of times but after a while you get in the vibe form the crowds energy.

Dope Drops: Sounds really cool, any upcoming collaborations we mind sharing? 

JOHN MiCHAEL: Maybe not imam focus on solo track I think I’ve done too many collabs, some people are exceptional though of course don’t get it twisted.

Dope Drops: Have you ever been locked up?

JOHN MiCHAEL: Yea for selling mad pounds hahaha, just playing but yea I have but only at juvi when I was younger. I guess after a while I learned how to be real slick about shit.

Dope Drops: What are some of your favorite movies to watch?

JOHN MiCHAEL: I like to watch shit like action movies and shit with mystery, some title examples are Apocalypto I wanna be in a movie a porn movie tho id title it   “Sex Trek: The Next Penetration” hahaha.

Dope Drops: Are there any projects from other artists that you are looking forward too?

JOHN MiCHAEL: I don’t really listen to rap anymore or music to be honest shit is really boring and the same artist.

Dope Drops: Any last words for out readers?
