A few days ago, rumors started spreading all over the internet about some of the lyrics on Frank Ocean‘s upcoming Channel Orange that reveal his first love was a man. Originally we weren’t even sure if the lyrics were correct, but Frank published a screenshot of a text document he wrote on his computer in December of 2011 while Frank was on a plane from New Orleans to Los Angeles. This document titled “Thank You’s” was meant to be included in his upcoming project, but he decided to release it early to clear things up. The note is beautifully written and reveals a lot about the singer-songwriter. It was a very daring but admirable move by Frank and he seems to feel like a weight has been lifted off his shoulders, he had this to say.
“I don’t know what happens now, and that’s alrite. I don’t have any secrets I need kept anymore.”
