To begin, as of now this is complete speculation, there hasn’t been any word from Frank Ocean on the matter, and the lyrics in question aren’t available yet. Max, a TV/Radio personality and blogger who’s worked with MTV and BBC, had a chance to listen to Frank Oceans upcoming album Channel Orange, and has heard some lyrics that may shock some people.
“On the songs ‘Bad Religion’ ‘Pink Matter and ‘Forrest Gump’ you can hear him sing about being in love and there are quite obvious words used like ‘him’ and not ‘her’.” – Max
Hopefully this doesn’t affect your opinion of Frank Ocean, it’s quite admirable for someone to be so open and honest about their personal life through their music. Channel Orange is set to be a classic album, and there’s no doubt it will be an absolutely stunning and beautiful piece of work.
