M.I.A. has just released her new single “Bring the Noize” off her forthcoming album, Matangi. Recently sitting down with Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1, here’s what M.I.A. had to say about her new track:
It was written in lots of different circumstances, but I guess it’s coming out at a time where I think in America it’s kinda cool to hear something like this. It’s in keeping with what I released before, so I’m gonna gradually ease people into the new sound as the album goes on.
On top of announcing the ‘Would You Like a Tour?’ tour, news has also dropped that Drake will be covering next month’s issue of GQ. It looks like Drake will be discussing “Started From the Bottom”, his conflict with Chris Brown, and now Nothing was the Same will be released much sooner than we thought. The Flatbush ZOMBiES are back today with another track from their upcoming project Better Off DEAD. We’ve already heard “MRAZ” and “When in Roam…”, and now we get to sit back and zone out to “Palm Trees”. Produced by the group’s Erick Arc Elliott and featuring verses from all three of the Zombies, we are now even more stoked for the release of this trio’s second project. From what we’ve heard so far, we’re certain that we’ll be enjoying this one as much as we still enjoy D.R.U.G.S..
